Back home in New Orleans they go their separate ways but it's obvious that they will reconnect at some point soon. I found myself falling for both of these ladies, I was swimming in genuine lady lust for both them, something quite unusual for me usually there is at least one of the two leading ladies that causes to question the book's authenticity not understanding why would the other woman ever go for her? The car trip from New York to New Orleans is just what it was used as a vehicle for the two lead characters to get to know each other, while introducing them to the reader. First, the amount and level of humor in this book was fantastic particularly the ice on Jorie's ass and Lena's bout with food poisoning. Despite all that extra caution I'm about to gush like a., nope better not use that metaphor I'm about to heap praise on this little book like it just won the Pulitzer. ![]() I also decided that in most cases I wouldn't do a review of any selection that I hadn't listened to at least twice. My solution was to take some time off I decided to give myself an hiatus from reviews of any audio lasting more than two hours. There were books that I'd totaled or praised after listening to once that either evolved or devolved after multiple plays. I looked back at some of my reviews and saw books I'd trashed before getting halfway through them, that I ended up really liking. ![]()
